Lions Youth Brass Band performs to packed house

Lions Youth Band

On Friday 6th June 2014 the Lions Youth Brass Band returned to the Festival Hall for their annual concert. This is the third time we were privileged that they performed here. Accompanying the Lions Youth Brass Band was the N-Choir Ladies Harmony.Choir.

The main hall was packed and the night was full of fun and entertainment. The entertainment comprised of three Youth Brass bands, which consisted of the beginner and junior bands, who performed in the first half. We then had the wonderful and highly talented N-Choir Ladies Harmony.

During the interval the Wilmslow & District Lions put on a wonderful spread of tea, coffee and home made cakes for the audience and all the musicians.

The second half of the concert started with the award winning main band who delighted everyone present with their highly skilled music. The N-Choir Ladies returned to entertain the enthusiastic audience.

The evening was a great success and the concert was organised by Wilmslow & District Lions to raise funds for the Go Wild for Lauren campaign in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust and Manchester Children's Hospital.
