Plans to recruit 100 police officers

Cheshire Police are looking to recruit 100 new police officers across the force area during 2014/15.

John Dwyer, Police & Crime Commissioner said, "A recruitment campaign will be launched on 12 May and I want to raise the bar and recruit 100 new officers by the end of March next year which is higher than I had originally planned."

Candidates need to apply by Sunday 25th May, by visiting the Cheshire Police website

Applications must be completed via the e-recruitment system and all applicants must upload their relevant qualifications to meet the eligibility criteria.

Hi John, glad to hear this news! However regards the criteria is it true that unless you have a "degree" your wasting your time?

What about "Special Constables" from out of the area without a "degree" would they be considered? Roy ( by the way I did vote for you)
