Cheshire East Council has approved plans to rebuild the fire damaged Panacea Restaurant and Bar.

Permission has been granted to reinstate the building to its original appearance - the majority of which was extensively damaged by fire on Tuesday 12th March and has since been demolished.

Plans were also approved a couple of months ago for a new terrace at the front of the building to enable year round alfresco dining with an outside bar and motorised retractable awning to cover the dining area.

The first phase of the works is scheduled to be completed towards the end of this year, and Panacea hope to be back up and running during the early part of 2014.

Good news. Can't wait for the opening night. I'll wear my flame retardant pants.
