Firefighters were called to a field fire in Alderley Edge this morning.
One fire engine from Macclesfield was called to the incident near the A34 at 5.49am today (Wednesday, 17th July).
A fire in a field involving compost needed the services of firefighters to put out.
The crew used one hose reel and tools to spread the compost out to extinguish it.
