John Dwyer, the Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire said "Over the past few months, a lot of hard work has been done by officers and staff to ensure that this day of action had an impact. I would like to say a big thank you to all of those people, because they're helping to make Cheshire a safer place to live and work.
"These warrants have resulted in arrests, which ultimately have disrupted criminal activity in Cheshire. I set out in my Police & Crime Plan that I want to get tough on drug misuse, and work like this helps to meet that aim.
"However, for operations like this to be a success, local officers need information from the local community. I'd urge people to get in touch with the police, either by calling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and pass on any information you have. For example, if you notice a funny smell, or someone you know is living beyond their means, get in touch and help tackle criminal activity in your local area."
