Due to a leaking water mains pipe water has been running down Ryleys Lane for the last few days.
We are pleased to report that the pipe has been fixed this morning and the water is now drying up.
United Utilities spokesman Gareth Roberts said: "A leaking mains pipe on Ryley's Lane was reported to us last Thursday. It was repaired this morning (Tuesday).
"Some properties in the area will have experienced low pressure and loss of supply for around 45 minutes while the repair was carried out. We'd like to say sorry if we interrupted anyone's daily routines and thank residents for their patience."
