The Wilmslow Green Room has been inundated with calls following the apparent vandalising of their banner in the Horseshoe Farm field.
The large banner which had not long been erected to herald their upcoming performance of Agatha Christie's murder mystery 'And then there were None', had seemingly been ripped from it's moorings in the field and lay motionless in the grass.
Were local hoodlums to blame?
Following extensive investigations, it transpired that the inhabitants of the field itself had chosen that specific spot as a scratch post.
Yes, it was the Llamas wot dun it!
Wilmslow Green Room Committee Executive, Helen Bingle reported, "It has now been re-erected and strengthened so we're hopeful it will stay in situ. It needed a jolly good hosing down as the Llamas didn't only use it to scratch against - if you know what I mean!"
So thank you to all who bothered to call. This particular mystery has been solved relatively quickly. Ms Christie would be proud!
