New appointments at AESG

Alderley Edge School for Girls is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Janey Barker and Mrs Caroline Wood who have been promoted to new positions at the school which commenced this week.

Janey Barker, a teacher of Mathematics has been appointed as Assistant Head of Lower School to support with expanding numbers at the school, whilst Caroline Wood, a teacher of Geography will take up her post as second Deputy Head supporting Headmistress Mrs Goff, Deputy Head Mrs Pollard and Director of Studies, Mrs Duthie.

Both have been teaching at the school for several years and are also Knutsford residents, with Janey having lived in the area for 16 years.

Caroline Wood enthused on her new position, 'I am thrilled to have been offered the post. Having worked for six years in the school, starting as a Head of Department, I can't wait to take on the new challenge.

"Myself and Janey are really looking forward to starting our new roles."
