Junior girls at Alderley Edge School for Girls participated in East Cheshire Hospice's annual Reindeer Run this week, raising over £1800 for the hospice.
On Wednesday afternoon 150 girls in Years 3 to 6 took to the school field to run the Christmas Tree trail with PE teacher Miss Brotherhood dressed as Father Christmas. The younger girls in the Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2 completed mini runs and cheered their school friends on with their challenge.
Headmaster Mr Lawrence Groves praised all of the girls involved for their fundraising efforts and enthusiasm, "The girls had a great afternoon, they always enjoy activities that are fun but in addition support such worthwhile causes."
