Crews from Wilmslow fire station tackled a car fire in the car park of a care home on Lydiat Lane yesterday evening, Tuesday December 14th, at about 9pm.
Upon arrival they found the vehicle to be well alight and, wearing breathing apparatus, the fire crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Police were also informed.
Sergeant Steve Sheppard said "We are investigating the incident and waiting for the results from forensics to determine whether it was malicious or not."
