The Cheshire Police helicopter was called out last night to search for man following a road traffic collision at Monks Heath traffic lights.
The accident was reported at 7.15pm and a 65 year old local man was later located by patrols and arrested near to the scene on suspicion of drink driving. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The collision involved a Blue Rover and a VW van. There were no reported injuries.
