Henry Johnstone's gem of a sculpture

If you were in the village on Saturday you couldn't have failed to notice that an amazing ice sculpture was being created throughout the day outside Henry Johnstone.

To celebrate the launch of the jewellers' new website, dedicated to Thomas Sabo products, Glacial Art created a beautiful ice sculpture inspired by one of the most iconic sterling silver pieces from the Thomas Sabo collection. In the morning a six foot pillar of ice arrived, which was was skilfully transformed into a stunning seahorse - complete with a small selection of Thomas Sabo jewellery frozen inside the sculpture.

Henry Johnstone said "Thanks to the overwhelming support from our local community and those who travelled from further a field, this year's Thomas Sabo event lived up to all our expectations and more.

"The launch of our very first online store, dedicated to Thomas Sabo products, received a glowing reception from all our guests who came in on Saturday, many of whom commented on the convenience and selection of product available."

Imagine FM joined them for the day, broadcasting live from London Road - providing music for passers by as the ice sculpture was being formed.

Henry added "All in all the combined efforts of everyone involved and the support received from our loyal customers, and welcome new faces, made this year's event the success it was, we can't wait for next year!"
