Alderley Edge Methodist Church will be hosting a special concert on Friday, November 19th, in support of Children in Need.
The concert will include performances from Alderley Edge School for Girls, The Ryleys, Alderley Edge Community Primary, Mottram St. Andrew Primary, Ashdene Primary and the Alderley District Scout Band.
The programme will consist of choirs, brass bands, orchestras and soloists.
Judy Povey, church secretary said "The whole evening is always a very busy, buzzy and fun evening for which the church is generally packed. It is something we have hosted for about 13 years and in doing so we have enabled the village to raise over £15,000 for Children In Need."
The concert starts at 6.30pm, entrance is £3 and throughout the evening children will be coming round with collection buckets. In addition to the entry fees and generous donations, Mottram Primary School provide Pudsey biscuits and cakes to sell, which the children are always keen to buy.
