The 'Taste' is on at Corks Out

Alderley Taste 3 031

Corks Out Alderley Edge launches 'Taste', its 'New Wine Adventure' this week, which ties in with its 1st Anniversary on Saturday 14th August.

As previously reported, Corks Out is already offering its customers the chance to enjoy a selection of interesting wines by the glass on the premises, with both outdoor and indoor seating, and to compliment this, from Thursday 12th August, sampling machines will be in place, holding 16 wines to taste and explore.

Ruth Yates, the owner of Corks Out, explained "There will be quirky alternatives and hidden gems in addition to the great wines we all know and love. You can discover a grape or fine icon wine you have never tried before from as little as 30p a sample or simply try before you buy.

"Each bottle in the 'Taste' machine will offer you a small sample, a share sample measure or a 175ml glass. Personal 'Taste' cards can be credited with as little as £5 and wines will often be themed on a particular grape, country, region or producer."

Corks Out will be holding a special 1st Anniversary party this Saturday, 14th August, with lots of fizz and give-aways. The first 20 customers will receive a free 'Taste' card with £5 credit to try out the new sample machines and every customer will be entered into a free draw for a magnum of Laurent Perrier rose champagne.

I like this specialist shop and support it instead of the supermarkets. Quality products served by people who know what they are talking about.

My personal tipple from the shop is the Wincle Waller bottled beer, 3.8 % brewed by the Wincle beer company up at Heaton near Meerbrook. Then again, I'm biased because I build dry stone walls as a hobby!
