Mister Maker comes to town

Mister Maker from the CBeebies’ arts and crafts show was in Alderley Edge this morning to film a programme at Alderley Edge Community Primary School for his brand new series 'Mister Maker Comes to Town'.

Mister Maker is the ultimate interactive arts and crafts show for younger kids. With the aid of funny, oversized props, a combination of live action graphics and unique techniques, Mister Maker transforms everyday objects into art.

In this new series, Mister Maker Comes to Town will retain all of the show’s usual features, but with a difference – Mister Maker will take his artistic talents on the road in his very own vehicle the ‘Makermobile’, visiting his audience of ‘mini-makers’ at Alderley Edge Community Primary School.

Class teacher, Mrs Jenna Bowker, said "This has been a fantastic experience for the children involved. They have really enjoyed getting messy and making some very special 3D artwork. Mister Maker’s arrival was a huge surprise and it was great to see the excitement on the children’s faces."

Headteacher, Mr Chris Perry also commented "We have some extremely talented artists in school and it was great that some of these children could enjoy such an invaluable experience."

Mister Maker currently airs on CBeebies during the week at 4.10pm and at weekends at 9.25am and 2.25pm.
