Wilmslow community Easter lunch a hopping success

Carefound Home Care welcomed over 30 guests to an Easter celebration at The Guild community centre in Wilmslow.

The complimentary event took place on Wednesday, 16th April and was aimed at bringing together local older people, their families, and the wider community.

Those who attended were treated to live music and a beautiful spread of food, with cakes baked by local volunteers. There were also themed activities including an Easter quiz with hampers for the winners, creative crafting, a lively tombola, and a fun 'egg shy' game with chocolate prizes.

The celebration was not only a chance for people to connect, but also helped raise funds for Wilmslow’s Guild for Lifelong Learning, who generously hosted the event and provided their welcoming space.

Sarah Vickers, Recruitment & Community Manager at Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow, said:

"It was lovely to see so many local community members come along and celebrate Easter, as well as our own clients."

"We made sure it was inclusive for all abilities to take part in the activities and a relaxing environment."

"Thank you to everybody who helped, especially the local volunteers who baked cakes and assisted those attending on the day."
