MH Stainton win regional award

BUILDING AWARDS PIX 1

MH Stainton Building Contractors have won Best Domestic Extension for the refurbishment of East Court on Beechfield Road at this year’s Local Authority Building Control North West Regional Excellence Awards.

The awards, which took place at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton on Friday, recognise high-quality building work and successful working relationships between developers and local authorities.

Founder and owner Michael Stainton has been producing high quality residential developments for over three decades. Michael said "This is our 13th award for built in quality over 5 consecutive years and it is a credit to our dedicated team that we continue to strive to produce the ultimate in quality homes.

"We are proud to take Eastcourt to the National Final, which we won in 2008 for best one off house."

Cheshire East councillor, Diana Thompson, Cabinet support member with responsibility for prosperity, said: “This is a great result for all concerned. These projects capture what is being achieved across Cheshire East; improved housing, modern educational facilities, innovative community projects and the positive working relationships which are forged between developers and local authorities.

“I would like to offer my congratulations to MH Stainton for its award and wish the company the best of luck for the national final later this year.

“Much praise must also go to all those in the building control team for identifying these projects and ensuring they received the recognition they deserve.”

East Court was on the market at £1,395,000 through Gascoigne Halman and Andrew Nowell but is now sold subject to contract.
