As lockdown restrictions are eased and more businesses prepare to re-open some local bus services are returning to normal.

Due to a severe reduction in passenger numbers, D&G Bus company has operated reduced services but from Monday, 15th June, the 88 service between Altrincham, Wilmslow, Mobberley, Knutsford and Macclesfield will return to the normal timetable.

Additionally, from Monday the free bus between Wilmslow and Handforth Dean, which is only for passengers travelling to or from Handforth Dean, will run to a revised route and timetable.

Buses will operate to and from Knutsford serving Mobberley and the Gravel Lane area of Wilmslow but Styal will no longer be served due to very low passenger numbers

However, Service 130, from Macclesfield, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Handforth, will continue to operate to a reduced timetable.

A spokesperson for D&G Bus said "We are following government advice at all times to ensure the safety of our staff and passengers."
