Heyes Lane Tennis Club has applied to install new court lighting on all its courts.

The Alderley Edge sports club, which is located within the Green Belt on the edge of the village, has three courts with an artificial all weather surface.

The application seeks full planning permission for the installation of twelve 7m high flood light columns.

The Planning Officer is recommending the plans for approval at the Northern Planning Committee meeting on Wednesday 25th June, stating "The proposed floodlights will not unduly harm the character or visual impact of the Green Belt and that the benefits are sufficient to outweigh any harm. The proposed development would not comprise inappropriate development and it would comply with relevant Green Belt policy."

The application can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council Planning Portal by searching for planning reference 24/4944/FUL.
