Alderley Edge School for Girls is delighted to announce that 31 girls have joined its Junior School since the start of the academic year. Due to the increase in numbers, a new Year 3 class will be created from September 2010 and a teaching post will be made available with immediate effect.

Lawrence Groves, Headmaster of the Junior School commented, “There has been a recent increase in demand from parents who wish their daughters to join our happy and inclusive learning environment. With the strong support of the teachers and excellent facilities on offer, girls who join Alderley Edge School for Girls are eager and curious learners who develop quickly, on both an academic and personal level."

“Increasing numbers in the Junior School allows us to continue to offer a wide range of activities and events for the girls to experience.”

With an ethos of continuous improvement and 3 more girls registered to start in April, Alderley Edge School for Girls is expecting these numbers to rise further and welcomes anyone who would like to visit the school to attend the Junior School “Open Doors, Open Day,” on 20th March.

Visit our events section for further information or contact Julie Bedigan, Registrar on 01625 583028.
