New signage is to be installed in the village centre to try and resolve the problem of motorists driving the wrong way down one-way streets.
Councillor Craig Browne confirmed that 'No Entry' markings are to be added at the end of Stevens Street, Brown Street and Chapel Street.
He said "A number of residents have contacted me about this, whilst some of the parish councillors have also expressed concerns about cars travelling in the wrong direction along these one-way streets.
"Although there will always be some people who choose to ignore the Highway Code, it was felt that some additional road markings would help to raise awareness and reinforce the existing one-way restrictions. I am pleased that CE Highways have responded positively to my request and the work should be carried out later in the summer."
