Well-known local Chef Enzo Mauro from the top Italian restaurant Osteria Mauro in Mottram St. Andrew has been nominated for a prestigious award, the Hi-Life Dining Awards Best Chef of the Year category.
Enzo who also owns the restaurant Stock in Manchester has just been notified that he is one of 3 top North West chefs in the running for the top prize. What is particularly special about this award is that it is awarded by the members of Hi-Life diners club so is praise indeed for the culinary skills of the chefs.
This year the awards are being held at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel in the stunning Betham Tower on Friday 29 January 2010.
They are the largest restaurant accolades to be voted for by the dining public and Enzo is understandably delighted “Its fabulous news, it’s always wonderful to be acknowledged for the work you do, I have been a chef now for many years, and love every minute”.
