Plans have been submitted to turn part of the current Alderley Edge Medical Practice into a three bedroom home.

An application has been submitted to change the use of the four storey property at 18, George Street from a doctors surgery to a private residential dwelling.

Planning permission was granted to build a new Medical Centre at the front of the Festival Hall in August 2012. Work is now well underway and scheduled to be completed at the end of February 2016.

The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council website by searching for planning reference 15/5361M. The deadline for submitting comments is 18th December and a decision is expected to be made by 21st January.
