This Friday sees the much anticipated opening of Panacea in Alderley Edge and today the doors of the refurbished restaurant were opened for the first time to welcome hundreds of local ladies to a pre-opening lunch.
The venue is spread over two floors, featuring a 100 cover restaurant on the ground floor with a lounge bar towards the rear of the building and an outdoor dining area at the front.
The upstairs, which will be open from Thursday to Saturday, and available for private hire during the week, features a late bar and three private booths.
Designed by Bernard Carroll and described as their "most groundbreaking design yet", the interior is certainly impressive. I particularly liked the gorgeous feather lightshades, graffiti style murals and huge upstairs bar.
