Cheshire Police are warning people to be aware when returning to their vehicle after having been shopping as there have been a number of cases whereby shoppers have been approached by organised groups.
They have been asked for the time or directions to a local shop, then whilst answering the question another individual has entered the individuals bag and removed bank cards and purses.
If you see anything suspicious report it to Wilmslow Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
