Police were called to Stormy Point on The Edge at 9.34am on Saturday, 2nd May, after a member of the public found a male hanging from a tree whilst out walking their dog.
Police and forensic teams attended and the area was cordoned off whilst initial investigations took place.
Sgt Andy Miller said "The male whose name has not been released was 32 years old and lived in Wilmslow. There are no suspicious circumstances."
