Alderley Primary School pupils warn of danger

danger

Passing motorists may have noticed the warning signs adorning the many entrances to the site of the Bypass.  Obviously drawn by children you may have wondered where they came from.  Well here is the story.

We think Alderley Edge Primary School was the only school to respond to Dave Hill’s ( from Birse Civils ) invite for him to come in to school to talk in assembly about site safety etc when they first started building the bypass. All our children then entered a poster competition and 3 children’s art work was made in to the posters you see around the bypass.

On the last day of school Dave came in to school and presented the winning children with gift vouchers (and their pictures were framed too!)

So now you know.
