Macclesfield Road closed Monday

Macclesfield Road will be closed on Monday, 11th August, to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out patching works.

It is anticipated that the works will take place between 8am and 5pm on the section between Trafford Road and Woodbrook Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.

More patching work ! The roads look like a hand made bedspread from a plane.

The "new" surface stops well before Woodbrook Road................... is that it ?

Let's hope the road markings are re-instated quicker than the ones in Chorley Hall Lane which we are still waiting for.

Surely this section needs a complete re-surface. Patching will merely mean even more cracks and holes over the winter.
