The annual Time Out Group charity ball will see sees friends and families teaming up to raise money to help members get involved with social and leisure activities within their own community.
Taking place at The Pinewood Hotel, Handforth on Saturday 17th May, the ball is now in its 5th year and will be a fun evening of dinner and dancing. There will also be a raffle and auction offering guests the opportunity to win flight vouchers, cases of wine and Manchester United goodies.
Time Out Group is a supported social and leisure group for adults with learning disabilities in Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Handforth. It's vision is for members to be accepted as equal within their own community and have the opportunity to take part in social and leisure activities without discrimination.
Time Out Group are delighted to announce the appointment of their new Manager, Miriam Wild whose professional background includes training with the critically-acclaimed ChickenShed Theatre, a theatre company that prides itself on being open to all.
Miriam said "I am really excited about the ball and celebrating the work that has been achieved over the past year. I'm also looking forward to setting up a new group in Macclesfield as well as developing some more exciting, accessible activities for our existing members in Wilmslow, Handforth and Alderley Edge but to develop this important work we need to raise funds."

Time Out Group has to raise a third of the funding needed to ensure it can continue to offer its programmes, and only exists because of the passion, enthusiasm, commitment and belief that its supporters have.
Ticket prices are £30 per person which includes a 3 course dinner served at 7.30pm. Carriages at midnight.
