A brother and sister will be completing a mini triathlon for the second year running to raise funds for Dyslexia Action in Wilmslow.

8-year-old Ryan Vigerstaff and his 7-year-old sister Leila will be joined by nine of their friends from Alderley Edge Community Primary School, who are all aged between 6 and 9.

They are all going to swim 25m, cycle 1km and run 500m with the aim of raising £1000, or more, to buy resources for the Wilmslow Centre of Dyslexia Action which helps Ryan.

In addition, as Ryan explained "For the next 15 weeks, Leila and I are donating half of our pocket money to this cause and we have a pot in the kitchen that we are asking mum and dad and everyone else who visits to put their 1p, 2p and 5ps into.

"We can't wait to do our challenge and hope you will help us achieve our goal."

Last year Ryan and Leila raised £625 for Dyslexia Action in Wilmslow, this year they are hoping to reach their target of raising £1000 when they complete the challenge at Total Fitness on 27th April.

Their mother Rashana added "All the money raised will go to the Wilmslow centre of Dyslexia Action and will be used to buy new resources. Ryan attends the centre every week for a specialised 1:2 class and the fundraising is essentially his idea. In a nutshell he wanted to raise money for the charity that helps him."
