A Year 12 pupil at Alderley Edge School for Girls has reached the final of a prestigious north west fashion competition.
Delia Khaffaf has been selected as a finalist for the Runway on the Runway Design a Prom Dress Competition.
After being inundated with entries, the finalists were selected by Manchester designer Vicky Martin and Head of Fashion at Manchester Metropolitan University, Caroline Herz.
All of the finalists will now create their dresses which will be modelled on the Concorde catwalk at the Runway on the Runway event on March 21st, at Manchester Airport.
Head of Design and Technology at the school, Mrs Katherine Boyland commented, "We wish Delia the best of luck as a finalist, her dress design is fantastic and we look forward to seeing the final piece being displayed on the catwalk."
