AstraZeneca has been working in partnership with CVS (Community & Voluntary Services) Cheshire East to spread some Christmas Cheer.
Around 2,000 toys donated by company staff have been distributed to 32 local charities and community groups across Cheshire East - to help to bring a smile and some Christmas joy to many children from families who are less well off or may be going through a troubled period.
Chris Doherty from AstraZeneca said "We are delighted to support CVS Cheshire East and their partner charities to help bring a little festive cheer to some of the children in our community with this heartfelt gesture from our colleagues at Alderley Park."
Caroline O'Brien, Chief Officer of CVS Cheshire East said "We are extremely pleased to have helped to facilitate this project together with AstraZeneca. It is lovely to feel that we are helping local children in some small way this Christmas."
