On Monday 15th October I attended the Parish Council's monthly meeting.
Since then I have reported on some of the issues raised at the meeting, including the Parish Council calling for traffic wardens to patrol the village centre during the evenings and at weekends and Cllr Keegan's report on the income from parking fines and whether the village is getting its fair share of the income.
I also reported on plans for London Road to be closed to traffic for this year's Christmas lights switch on, which will take place on Thursday, 22nd November - more details to follow shortly.
The minutes of October's Parish Council meetings are now available, click here to read about all the local issues discussed.
Last month's planning meeting was preceded by the quarterly Finance Committee meeting. The statement of accounts for Alderley Edge Parish Council can be downloaded here.
The Alderley Edge Parish Council meet once a month in the Council Chamber at the Festival Hall. All meetings are open to the public and the next Parish Council meeting will be held on Monday 10th December. Agendas for the forthcoming meetings can be found in our events section few days prior to each meeting.
