It's been a great week here at Alderley Edge Cricket Club (AECC) with the opening club league matches, with all junior teams winning their opening matches.
The rain didn't dampen the spirits of AECC Junior Tennis teams this weekend, as all teams showed great tolerance and spirit in such adverse conditions, showing that it not just about being good tennis players as in bad weather you need to use the conditions to your advantage, Greg Johnson & Max Harari showed this by only dropping 3 games in 4 sets, a great performance
Both U13 teams beat their opponents Lindow & David Lloyd 8-0.
AECC U13 Team that played Lindow, Jack Ronnie & Zac Roberts / Greg Johnson & Max Harari.
AECC U13 Team that played David Lloyd Cheadle, Jack Mather & Max Green / Leo Cullis & Devell Stevens.
U18s beat West Heaton 6-2 (players Henry Offer, Huw Smith, Izzy Hambley & Pippa Neal).
The weekend before saw the U15 team continued success of last season after promotion by beating Bowdon 7-1 (players James Ruddock, Greg Johnson, Victoria Mowat, Kate Watson another great performance from all the team.
Last Friday showed the first social night cardio tennis which involves tennis coaching fitness to music, which also was a great success with over 50 children taking part.
