Alderley businesses host egg hunt

Easter hunt

Alderley Edge businesses have come together to deliver a fun Easter Egg Hunt in the village and raise money for the NSPCC.

Between March 24th and April 7th hen's eggs, hand painted by children from Ryley's School, will be displayed in the windows of participating businesses.

In order to enter you will need to find a secret letter displayed on an egg inside participating retailers. Once you have collected all the letters you need to arrange them to spell the winning phrase, fill out your entry for and you could be on your way to winning one of the many prizes donated by local businesses.

Entries must be returned to Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe, in return for a little egg treat, by 4pm on Saturday April 7th. A draw of correct entries will then take place at 5pm on April 7th.

Judy O'Brien from Mr Simms said "I am delighted to have had such a positive and enthusiastic response from local traders wanting to participate in the event. I think it will be a lovely fun traditional activity for families to enjoy together. Alderley Edge has such a friendly village atmosphere and so much to offer the consumer."

Entrants must be under 16 on April 7th and children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Entry forms can be collected from participating retailers including Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe who are organising the event.

Spaces are still available for local businesses who wish to take part in the Alderley Edge Easter Egg Hunt. Complete the attached entry form and either drop a hard copy off for Judy at Mr Simms or email it to Judy O'Brien by March 14th.
