Grants are available from Cheshire East Council for voluntary and community groups to help with funding for various projects.
The Council is looking to support projects which will benefit both the people and the environment of the Borough.
Grants up to £3000 are available for any buildings used for community purposes, open space areas or plays areas which are not sports grounds.
Up to £500 is available for any activities which contribute to the development and wellbeing of the community and are ongoing throughout the year. Whilst grants of up to £250 for one off or annual events which benefit and involve whole communities.
There are four dates for the 2011/12 grants and the next deadline for applications is Saturday 1st October.
