will turner - on leave 40%22x30%22

The first of two new art galleries is opening in Alderley Edge this week.

Collect Art will open at 36 London Road on Thursday, 8th September, offering selected paintings by well known artists from across the UK.

Owner Martin Heaps told me "We specialise in 20th century and contemporary art, by both dead and living artists from all over the UK but a high percentage will be from the North West such as LS Lowry and Geoffrey Key. We build collections for clients, and over the years I have sold collections for clients. We will also be offering a bespoke framing service."

Martin Heaps, 41, lives in Stockton Heath and spent most of his career working in finance for companies such as GE Capital and LLoyds.

In 2008 Martin opened the first Collect Art gallery in Lymm, after running the business from a gallery built on the side of his home since 2002.

Martin explained "We have become very busy at Lymm over the last 12 months and have being looking for other premises to expand our customer and artist base."

A specially picked selection of work will be available for viewing on the opening night on the 8th September at 7pm. Call 01925 759988 for an invitation or email [email protected].
