Over 200 guests will enjoy a summer's evening with a difference in the grounds of Alderley Edge Cricket Club.

The East Cheshire branch of the NSPCC are holding a Celebrity Cook off featuring local chefs on Wednesday 22nd June.

Following a Pimm's reception and two course dinner, guests will be entertained by jazz and swing singer Cole Page.

Presenter Stuart Hall will then host the after dinner entertainment in the form of a Celebrity Cook-Off. The award winning chefs; Marc Mattocks, from the Dunn Cow, and Ryland Wakeham, owner of Amber in Hale, will go head to head and cook up a storm, with the help of Corrie star Jennie McAlpine.

Kate Wilkinson, NSPCC Cheshire Special Events Chairman, said "Our extremley talented and charismatic local chefs and celebrities are busy preparing what will certainly be a unique form of after dinner entertainment!

"Please join us at what promises to be an extremely entertaining evening and help us raise some serious money to directly benefit local children who are subject to horrific circumstances."

A limited tickets number of tickets are still available, priced £45, email Kate Wilkinson for reservations and further information.
