The B5359 Alderley Road - Chelford Road, formerly the A535, will be closed at Corbishley Railway Bridge from 7.30am until 5.30pm hours on Thursday, 20th January.
The road will be closed to allow Network Rail to undertake a structural survey of Corbishley Railway Bridge.
The alternative route for through traffic will be from Chelford Roundabout, east on the A537 to Bollington Lane, Nether Alderley, and A34 Congleton Road and the new A34 Bypass or vice versa. Local traffic should follow signed diversion routes.
