Singers at this year's Christmas carol concert raised £560 for charity.
Fifty five people turned out on a freezing Sunday evening to attend the 30th annual carols evening which has become a Christmas tradition in the village and raised over £25,000 for local charities.
Organised by Fay Wertheimer from the Carlton Ensemble this year's concert was held at The Merlin and featured a string quartet, trumpet and trombone - all of whom are professional musicians.
The money raised will go to Francis House, Macmillan Nurses, Diabetes UK, British Heart Foundation, NSPCC and Parkinson's UK.
Fay Wertheimer said "The atmosphere was great at The Merlin and Jon Ward and Genna Day's staff were super - we hope to return next year."
Fay started the concerts in 1981 and they were hosted by John and Janet Wheeldon at No.15 Wine Bar until it's closure in 2009.
