PCSO Jim Newns, in conjunction with members from the Parish Plan Group, is hoping to set up a youth club in the new year.
PCSO Newns will be drawing on his experience of helping to set up a youth club with a group of local residents from the Spath Lane Estate in Handforth, which received funding from the police to help address anti-social behaviour.
He said "Something similar is hopefully going to be set up in the spring time to be run on a weekly basis in the upstairs room at The Royal Oak.
At this month's Parish Council meeting, Councillor Mary Maczkowiak requested that a sum of £2000 be included in next year's budget to help support this initiative, saying "We have talked about this for too long and need to have some sort of youth facility."
PCSO Newns explained "We will need about 10 volunteers who are all CRB checked so if anyone is interested please contact me on 07948522130."

Alderley Edge Hockey Club will be pleased to support from time to time by running 'taster' sessions for youth club members led by fully qualified and CRB checked coaches. Can structure 'fun' oriented games/sessions for both boys and girls. We also run Junior Leadeship courses in the summer, could invite interested children participate.Let me know if we can assist.
Working together we can achieve so much!
