Pupils from Year 6 at The Ryleys visited Brookview Nursing & Residential Home on Friday 1st October to entertain the residents for their 'Bupa Wants Talent' contest.
The boys were keen to be involved, providing solo performances on the trumpet, piano, and euphonium, as well as a brass duet for the finale. There were also puppeteers, comedy and dance performances which had been written and produced by the children themselves.
In the end, the judges' decision is final, and the deserved winner was Pat Smart with her fabulous dress design portfolio from 1947. A great time was had by all and afterwards the contestants enjoyed some fantastic cream cakes for their efforts.
