Continued growth for Chess

In what has been a difficult year for the UK economy Alderley Edge based Chess has once again delivered a strong trading performance with a 51% increase in profits compared to 2009.

Chief Executive David Pollock said "Excellence in customer service remains at the heart of everything we do allowing us to maximise the relationship with our customers.

"We have seen real success in encouraging our customers to buy additional products and services as well as commit to longer term contracts, guaranteeing our revenue streams for many years to come."

Chess continues to successfully integrate telecom businesses with a further 10 acquisitions during the past year. Net cash inflow from operating activities increased by 93% and gross margins grew to 40%.

Chess also continues to invest in operational and technological solutions to meet their customers' requirements and drive efficiencies through the business. Looking to the future David stated: "We are confident that our proven business model of acquisition, organic growth and cross sales to existing customers will deliver another year of increased profitable growth in 2011."
