Esther McVey MP has made her annual pilgrimage to the Charity Christmas Card shop in Wilmslow library.

The Tatton MP spent time talking to the volunteers and customers as well as doing some of her own Christmas shopping.

She said, "My trip to the charity Christmas card shop is always a highlight of my year. As always, I have found some fantastic stocking fillers and it was good to catch up with the team and hear that 100% of the sales still go to the charities taking part"

Founder of the Christmas card shops, Sheila Hallas MBE welcomed Esther, "We were thrilled to have our local MP once again take time out of her busy
schedule to support our causes. What makes us different is that all profits go back to the individual charities and it is why Esther and our other customers
purchase their Christmas cards from us."

In the Wilmslow shop alone there are 500 different designs from over 30 charities. With all types of charities featured from health to animal and
children's to across the UK & abroad.

The Wilmslow shop is open every day upstairs in the library, except Sunday, until 10th December.

Full details of opening times can be found on www.christmas-cards.org.uk.
