Just before 1.40pm today a serious road traffic collision occurred outside Prontofresco on London Road. The collision involved a pedestrian and a heavy goods vehicle.
Emergency services have now left the scene and Cheshire Police are currently interviewing witnesses.
London Road remains closed to traffic at its junction with Macclesfield Road and at the other end of London Road at Heyes Lane.
