Last year was a busy one for Alderley Edge based Orbit Developments with a 28% rise in the number of commercial lettings and an additional 300,000 sq ft of office, business and retail space being occupied. The property developer has also seen over a 100% increase in the number of enquires compared to 2008.
Established in 1971 as the commercial arm of The Emerson Group, Orbit has a portfolio of 8 million square feet and is one of the most established and successful commercial developers in the North West.
Paul McLeman, Leasing Director at Orbit said: "Although it has been a tough year for business, our figures show that we are continuing to prosper year on year and we now have only 8% of our total portfolio available to let."
