Chetham students to bring season to a fitting finale

The final recital of the current season of lunchtime concerts takes place at Alderley Edge Methodist Church on Wednesday 21st June. at 1.00 pm.

Three students from Chetham's School of Music will perform. Daniel Poole, 17, from Chapel-en-le-Frith will play two items on the saxophone, Daisy Mitchell, soprano, 17 from Stoke-on-Trent will perform three Mozart arias and
Isobel Daws, 15, from Farnham will perform on the trombone.

Jean Walker said "The standard of performance by students from Chetham's is always exceptional and we look forward to this varied programme to bring our season to a fitting finale."

Admission is by programme, £5, available at the door.

Light lunches are served from 12 noon and the concert will commence at 1pm.

Proceeds from our 2016-2017 concerts enabled Alderley Edge Methodist Church to make donations to the following charitable organisations: All We Can, Barnabus, Bible Society, Boaz Trust, Housing Justice, Mary' s Meals, The Oasis Centre in Gorton, Retrak, Visyon and Wilmslow Wells for Africa.

Schedules for the 2017-18 series, which starts on Wednesday 20th September, are now available from the church.
