A goose on the loose brought smiles to passing motorists and pedestrians this morning as local residents and businesses owners struggled to keep it safe.
The goose, thought to be a bean goose, was wandering around Trafford Road for nearly three hours this morning before a man from the RSPCA came to the rescue.
Charles Gaughan of Trafford Road Barbers said "Our local PCSO helped organise and kept the bird safe along with a kind resident from Tyler Point, two members of staff from Imagine If and myself outside my shop.
"What a beautiful bird, glad it turned out OK."
Charles added "It caused chaos with traffic but it was an extreme traffic calming method - every one just smiled, you don't seem to mind the disruption some times and trying to keep it safe was funny."
