Cheshire Police are looking for people to join an Audit Advisory Committee or an Ethics Advisory Panel advising the Commissioner and Chief Constable directly.
The Audit Advisory Committee provides assurance on risk management, governance, audit and financial controls and the annual accounts. The Ethics Advisory Panel considers ethical challenges facing Cheshire Police and provides advice on good practice, integrity and standards of public service.
David Keane, Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire and the Chief Constable, Simon Byrne wish to appoint 4 additional audit members, who must have a good understanding of risk and financial controls.
Three additional ethics members are sought to challenge policing integrity and ethical matters.
They are particularly interested in applications from diverse members of the community. Further details and separate audit and ethics information packs and application forms can be found at www.cheshire-pcc.gov.uk.

Closing date for applications to both bodies is 12 noon on 28 November 2016. Shortlisting will take place on 12 December 2016 and interviews are planned for 5 January 2017.
