Plans to create additional parking spaces in the village centre can now go ahead as the required consultation is complete.
Speaking at the Parish Council meeting on Monday, 10th October, Councillor Craig Browne said "The consultation period for the new on-street parking spaces on South Street, Stevens Street and London Road ended last Thursday.
"No objections have been received as of last Thursday so we presume there aren't going to be any which is wonderful because that should ensure that that project can now go through quite smoothly."
This project will create about 15 additional parking spaces in the village centre.
